Dr. Devendra (Deven) Verma; Chairman and CEO. Dr. Verma is a founder of HSMC. He has 30+ years of experience as a technology executive, venture capitalist, and entrepreneur and investor. Deven was Executive Vice President at Loral Corporation and has managed the largest commercial satellite project in the world. Deven was the founding General Partner of Edgewood and Redwood Ventures. As a venture capitalist, he has invested in over 80 companies including Rightworks (SOLD to ICG Group), SwitchON (SOLD to PMC-Sierra), Catarman (SOLD to Infineon), Magma Design Automation , iLeverage (SOLD to E.Piphany), and CoDesign (SOLD to Synopsis). In addition, Deven has served on the Board Director or Advisor of Greater Bay Bank (NASDAQ : GBBK), Clearspeed ( LSE : CSD), Monet Communication. Currently, he is based in India and is involved in several other start-up companies in India

Dr. Werner Reczek, COO. Dr. Reczek has more than twenty-five years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including technology development, product design, manufacturing, planning and management. Dr. Reczek was previously Vice President of Infineon Technologies, where he managed the integration of a supplier for Infineon Technologies (IFX) in Shanghai. In 2005 and 2006, he successfully led the 1 billion USD wafer fab project in Kulim, Malaysia (IFX Power Fab). Previously, he held various management positions at Infineon Technologies and Siemens. Dr. Werner Reczek was born and educated in Austria. He graduated from Technical University of Graz, Austria in 1983 with a Master degree in Electrical Engineering and received his Ph.D. degree from Technical University of Munich, Germany in 1988.

Rajvir Singh; Founder and Board Member. Raj Singh had many years of experience as an engineer in high technology companies, starting with National Semiconductor in the early 1980s. After leaving National, he was among the first few employees at both Cirrus Logic and again at Nexgen. In 1992 he began a new career as an entrepreneur, starting a company to develop chip design software. Over the next few years, he started three of Silicon Valley’s most successful companies: Advanced Logic, Fiberlane Communications (later split into Cerent, Siara Systems, and Cyras Systems), and StratumOne. He is the co-author of Digital Design and Synthesis with Verilog HDL. Raj was the founding partner at Redwood Venture Partners, He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Roorkee Engineering College, India, and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.

Satish Gupta, President USA Satish Gupta has 30+ years experience as a senior executive in Silicon Valley. He co-founded SenSen in Aug 2005 and is the Director and Executive Chairman of the Company. Previously, he was the CEO and founding President of Cradle Technologies, a venture funded leader in the emerging generation of Soft-Silicon semiconductor companies. Prior to starting Cradle, Satish was the Corporate Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Cirrus Logic. He has also served as the Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Advanced Development for Media Vision, establishing it as a multi- media pioneer and taking it public in 1993. Satish was at IBM from 1968 through 1991, and worked in several geographical locations, holding a variety of technical and management positions around the world. Satish graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1968, with masters in electrical engineering. He was the gold medalist in his Bachelor's degree of Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, one of the top universities in India. He completed his second Masters in Engineering and Economic Systems from Stanford University in 1976, where he is also a member of the advisory committee to the MS&E department. He has co-authored several books and is a charter member of one of the most influential Entrepreneurs' network called TiE, The Indus Entrepreneurs.

KK Goswami, VP Microelectronics Dr. Goswami is a Director and Member of Board of MSM Energy Holdings, Dr. Goswami served as Senior Scientist and Director, Head of Mission Operations and Planning Division at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Satillite Center, India. Dr. Goswami has more than 38 years of experience in the field of technical research of hybrid micro electronics, satillite construction and launch. Dr. Goswami holds Master Degree in Electronics from The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India and is a Senior Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Vishal Verma, President and CFO Mr. Verma is currently is a Partner of Edgewood Ventures, LLC. Prior to Edgewood, Vishal was the Founder, President and COO of Akroria Networks, Inc. a well funded – VC backed optical switching company. Akroria is creating a novel approach on solving the bandwidth clutter in the telecommunication market. Prior to Edgewood, Vishal worked at Loral Corporation reporting to the Vice President of Asia Pacific. Vishal was responsible for creating and managing relationships with Loral’s customers in the Pacific Rim region. Vishal is a member of the The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), AAMA, SVASE, Chicago Private Equity Networks, Chicago CEO Roundtable, Executive Club of Chicago.
Vishal holds a B.S. degree in Finance and Marketing from Santa Clara University, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
